| Pounderosa | For boats with two or more crew weighing 200 pounds or more. |
| Twiggy | CANCELLED, NOT ENOUGH ENTRIES |
| Latitude 40 | For boats whose home port is at Latitude 40 or greater. |
| Family | For boats whose crew has pair of siblings or parent-child or grandparent-grandchild. |
| Mixed Gender | For boats with two or more crew of the female persuasion. |
| Greybeards | For boats with two or more crew who are older than 50 years. |
| Unqualified | For boats that do not qualify or do not wish to enter least two of the above categories. |
| Improvement | To the
boat that has not won any silver or other fun awards and whose position at the end of Friday improves the most from their Tuesday position, a gift certificate of $100 to West Marine. |
RULES: The awards in each category will be made to the boat that is the highest finisher in their class who has not placed in the top three for the week nor has won any daily prizes for the week. If no boat qualifies under this criteria, then the boat that finishes lowest in its category in the weekly standings will win the award. Progress will be posted on the web site daily for competitors.
